Suzhou’s unused nucleic acid sampling booths have been given a new function. With the end of the Spring Festival holiday and the return of workers, Gusu District in Suzhou has transformed several nucleic acid sampling kiosks at Suzhou Railway Station into “employment kiosks” to provide employment guidance for migrant workers at the “first stop”. The reporter learned from the district Human Resources and Social Security Bureau that by 14:00 on January 30, the “employment kiosks” had provided services for more than 700 people, with employment intentions covering technology, catering, construction, security, marketing, etc.

Shen Yuyu, deputy director of the Employment Promotion and Market Management Department of Gusu District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, introduced that in order to ensure the stability of enterprises’ employment before and after the Spring Festival, the district human resources and social security department had planned to hold employment public welfare activities at Suzhou Railway Station, and coincidentally, there were unused nucleic acid sampling booths, so they were utilized. 27, three nucleic acid sampling booths in the railway station area were transformed into “human resources and social security service stations” on the spot.
