On September 26, the city held a large-scale exercise (competition) for epidemic prevention and control with the participation of counties (cities and districts) at the militia training base of Lvliang Military Sub-district. The drill simulated a full chain and full elements of an epidemic prevention and control exercise process of a county with positive cases. The drill included epidemic monitoring: nucleic acid testing, information reporting; epidemic disposal: epidemiological investigation (traceability), personnel transfer, disinfection, isolation management, medical treatment, risk area (personnel) delineation and control, epidemic information release; laboratory testing (human and environmental specimen collection and delivery); public measures: publicity and education, patriotic health campaign.

She said that the whole exercise was powerfully commanded, well-organized and clear, and the working groups were divided, coordinated and reacted quickly, and the operation process was standardized and orderly, which effectively tested the emergency plan and exercised the prevention and control team. The exercise can be said to be full of highlights, reflected in: early detection of the first drop screening, early reporting, timely control; nucleic acid testing collection, transportation, inspection organization, articulation and smooth; flow of traceability fast, precise, accurate; timely medical treatment; disinfection, transfer, centralized isolation, community control of scientific norms, prevention and control in place. She also made comments and suggestions on the participation of multiple departments in epidemic prevention and control, and big data exclusion.

It is reported that after the exercise, in the next day and a half, 13 counties (cities and districts) will carry out a practical competition around the four links of epidemic information reporting, flow and traceability, environmental specimen collection and disinfection.
