Overseas imported confirmed case 12: Taiwan resident. arrived in Xiamen by flight on October 2. After entering the city, he was placed under intensive medical observation and tested positive for nucleic acid on the 7th day. Combined with the epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, imaging manifestations and laboratory test results, he was diagnosed as a confirmed case of New Guan Pneumonia and was isolated and treated by the city’s designated hospital. The passengers of the same flight have been implemented isolation medical observation measures.

As of 24:00 on October 7, Xiamen has reported a total of 1,985 confirmed cases of imported novel coronavirus pneumonia from abroad.

Overseas imported asymptomatic infected persons are still under intensive isolation medical observation 0 cases.
