October 9, 0-24 hours, the province’s new native confirmed cases 27 cases (Guangzhou 5 cases, Shenzhen 9 cases, Zhuhai 2 cases, Foshan 5 cases, Shaoguan 1 case, Huizhou 5 cases); new native asymptomatic infected 24 cases (Guangzhou 15 cases, Shenzhen 1 case, Zhuhai 3 cases, Huizhou 4 cases, Yunfu 1 case); another 4 native asymptomatic infected to confirmed cases (Foshan 1 case, Dongguan 1 case, Jiangmen 1 case, the (1 case in Foshan, 1 case in Dongguan, 1 case in Jiangmen, 1 case in Zhanjiang). The province has 25 new confirmed cases of imported foreign cases (12 in Guangzhou, 10 in Shenzhen, 1 in Foshan, 1 in Shanwei, 1 in Jiangmen); 25 new cases of imported foreign asymptomatic infections (14 in Guangzhou, 1 in Shenzhen, 2 in Zhuhai, 6 in Foshan, 1 in Dongguan, 1 in Zhongshan); and 2 cases of imported foreign asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (1 in Guangzhou, 1 in Dongguan).
There are 30 new cases discharged from the province (14 cases imported from abroad), and 536 cases are currently in the hospital (189 cases imported from abroad); 17 new cases of asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation (15 cases imported from abroad), and 347 cases of asymptomatic infected persons are still under medical observation (142 cases imported from abroad).
As of 24:00 on October 9, the province has reported a total of 21,110 positive cases of new coronary pneumonia (13,215 cases imported from abroad), including 10,516 confirmed cases (5,519 cases imported from abroad) and 10,594 asymptomatic cases (7,696 cases imported from abroad).
