Beijing added 13 new cases of locally confirmed and 3 asymptomatic infections yesterday

From 00:00 to 24:00 on October 9, there were 13 new local confirmed cases (including 2 cases of asymptomatic infected persons to confirmed cases diagnosed on October 8, of which 8 cases have been notified) and 3 asymptomatic infected persons (both have been notified), and no new suspected cases; there were 5 new overseas imported confirmed cases (including 2 cases of asymptomatic infected persons to confirmed cases) and 2 asymptomatic infected persons, and no new suspected cases. Two cases were cured and discharged from hospital, and six cases of asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation.

Local cases

Confirmed case 1: now lives in Dongcheng District, Yonghe Xingyuan District, is a socially screened person, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case on Oct. 9.

Confirmed cases 2 and 3: currently lives in No. 68 Jinyu Road, Chaoyang District, and is a quarantine observer, diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 9.

Confirmed cases 4, 9, 10: Currently lives in Dongyao Village, Chaoyang District, and is an isolated observer, diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 9.

Confirmed case 5: now lives in Zhugangzi Village, Haishan District, as an isolated observer, diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 9.

Confirmed cases 6 and 8: now lives in Dongcheng District, Yonghe Xingyuan District, is an isolated observer, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 9.

Confirmed case 7: now lives in Dongcheng District, Yonghe Xinyuan District, is an isolated observer, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 9.

Confirmed case 11: now lives in Erjie Village, Tongzhou District, is a social surface screening worker, diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 9.

Asymptomatic infected person 1: now lives in Dongyao Village, Chaoyang District, as an isolation observer, diagnosed as an asymptomatic infected person on October 9.

Asymptomatic infected person 2: now lives in No. 6 Guangsha Road, Daxing District, and is a social screening worker, diagnosed as asymptomatic infected person on October 9.

Asymptomatic infected person 3: now lives in Yonghe Xingyuan District, Dongcheng District, and is an isolated observer, diagnosed as asymptomatic infected person on October 9.

Confirmed cases imported from abroad

Confirmed case 1: Korean national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Korea on October 8, sent to centralized isolation hotel through closed-loop management, diagnosed as confirmed case on October 9.

Confirmed case 2: Chinese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Germany via France on October 6, was sent to the centralized isolation hotel via closed-loop management, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 9.

Confirmed case 3: Chinese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from the UK via France on October 8, sent to the centralized isolation hotel under closed-loop management, and diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 9.

Confirmed case 4: Chinese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Ireland via Germany on October 6, sent to the centralized isolation hotel under closed-loop management, diagnosed as asymptomatic on October 8, diagnosed as confirmed on October 9.

Confirmed case 5: Chinese Taiwanese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Taiwan on October 7, sent to the centralized isolation hotel via closed-loop management, diagnosed as asymptomatic on October 8, and diagnosed as confirmed on October 9.

All the above cases have been transferred to designated hospitals, epidemiological investigations have been conducted and control measures have been implemented as required.
