According to the Hubei Provincial Health Commission, on October 9 from 0-24 hours, there were 0 new local confirmed cases in Hubei Province, 48 new local asymptomatic infections (15 cases in Jingzhou City, all detected at isolation points; 10 cases in Jingmen City, all detected at isolation points; 8 cases in Huanggang City, 7 of which were closed-loop control persons from Xinjiang to E, 1 case detected at isolation points; 8 cases in Xiantao City, all detected at isolation points; 2 cases in Xiangyang City. 1 case was detected at isolation point; 2 cases in Enshi; 1 case in Wuhan; 1 case in Shiyan; 1 case in Yichang was detected at isolation point), 0 new confirmed cases imported from abroad, 6 new asymptomatic cases imported from abroad (1 case imported from Turkey, 1 case imported from Pakistan, 3 cases imported from Serbia, 1 case imported from Hong Kong, China), 0 new suspected cases, 0 new fatal cases, 0 cases discharged on the same day 0 cases, 6 cases of asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation on the same day (2 cases in Wuhan, 3 cases in Jingzhou; 1 case imported from abroad).

As of 24:00 on October 9, there was 1 confirmed local case (in Wuhan City, light) and 0 suspected cases treated in designated medical institutions. There are still 337 cases of local asymptomatic infected persons under centralized isolated medical observation (87 cases in Wuhan, 80 cases in Jingzhou, 72 cases in Xiantao, 32 cases in Jingmen, 22 cases in Huanggang, 9 cases in Enshi, 6 cases in Shiyan, 6 cases in Xiaogan, 6 cases in Suizhou, 5 cases in Xiangyang, 5 cases in Yichang, 4 cases in Ezhou, 2 cases in Tianmen, 1 case in Huangshi).
