The Hubei Health Commission informed that from 0-24 hours on October 10, the province had 0 new local confirmed cases, 29 new local asymptomatic infections (8 cases in Jingzhou City, all detected in the control area; 5 cases in Jingmen City, 5 cases in Xiantao City, 3 cases in Xiangyang City, 2 cases in Shiyan City, all detected in isolation sites; 2 cases in Huanggang City, 2 cases in Enshi Prefecture, 1 case in Wuhan City, 1 case in Yichang City, all from foreign provinces to E closed-loop control personnel and (detected at isolation sites), 0 new cases of confirmed cases imported from abroad, 0 new cases of asymptomatic infected persons imported from abroad, 0 new suspected cases, 0 new fatal cases, 0 cases discharged on the same day, 0 cases of asymptomatic infected persons discharged from medical observation on the same day.

As of 24:00 on October 10, there was 1 confirmed local case (in Wuhan City, light) and 0 suspected cases treated in designated medical institutions. There are still 366 cases of local asymptomatic infected persons under medical observation in centralized isolation (88 cases in Wuhan, 88 cases in Jingzhou, 77 cases in Xiantao, 37 cases in Jingmen, 24 cases in Huanggang, 11 cases in Enshi, 8 cases in Shiyan, 8 cases in Xiangyang, 6 cases in Yichang, 6 cases in Xiaogan, 6 cases in Suizhou, 4 cases in Ezhou, 2 cases in Tianmen and 1 case in Huangshi).

There was one confirmed case of overseas importation in designated medical institutions, which was light; 24 cases of overseas importation of asymptomatic infected persons were still under centralized isolation for medical observation.

The province has cured and discharged a total of 63,916 cases, a cumulative total of 4512 cases of death, a cumulative total of 68,430 cases of confirmed cases of new crown pneumonia reported. There are 16,843 close contacts who are still under intensive isolation for medical observation.
