On October 11, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region New Crown Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Command issued a news release showing that from 0:00 to 24:00 on October 10, 782 new positive infections were reported in Inner Mongolia, with several infected persons being postal couriers.
From 0:00 to 24:00 on October 10, Inner Mongolia reported 145 new local confirmed cases, including 113 cases in Hohhot, 15 cases in Baotou, 6 cases in Hulunbeier, 1 case in Tongliao, 2 cases in Chifeng, 1 case in Ulanqab and 7 cases in Erdos; 637 new asymptomatic infections, including 574 cases in Hohhot, 22 cases in Baotou, 15 cases in Hulunbeier and Xing’an League 10 cases, Chifeng 1 case, Ulanqab 3 cases, Erdos 1 case, Bayannur 11 cases.
On October 7, a positive nucleic acid sample was found in 1 staff of Erdos Postal Mail Processing Center during the regional nucleic acid detection live exercise in Dongsheng District of Erdos City.
After preliminary flow investigation and environmental nucleic acid sampling of the case activity site, it was found that 2 samples of the mail processing center No.3 delivery belt were both double gene positive, and 2 samples of No.3 left button were 1 double gene positive and 1 single gene positive.
On October 9, in the nucleic acid test conducted by the CDC of Dongsheng District for the personnel of the centralized isolation site close contact, 5 cases of primary screening positive personnel were found to be associated with the confirmed cases in the mail processing center of Erdos City.
From 0:00 on October 11 to 0:00 on October 14, Dongsheng District continued to implement the silent management of the whole area for 3 days and carried out the regional nucleic acid testing continuously, all the people in the district did not go out in principle except for participating in nucleic acid sampling, and the entrances and exits of the city implemented the control measures of “no entry, no exit”.
Xing’an League epidemic prevention and control command issued an emergency notice that, in view of the October 10 Xing’an League 1 case of positive initial screening, and the results of the flow of investigation may be associated with the October 6 and 7 postal, express, large Ulaanbaatar city and the entire area of Tuquan County continue to implement silent management, continue to carry out full nucleic acid testing.
From 0:00 to 24:00 on October 10, 25 cases of confirmed cases in Inner Mongolia were cured and discharged, including 22 cases in Hohhot and 3 cases in Erdos.
As of 24:00 on October 10, there were 1019 local confirmed cases in Inner Mongolia, including 885 cases in Hohhot, 65 cases in Baotou, 20 cases in Hulunbeier, 7 cases in Xing’an Meng, 5 cases in Tongliao, 11 cases in Chifeng, 3 cases in Xilin Gol League, 22 cases in Erdos; there were 3270 local asymptomatic cases, including 3070 cases in Hohhot, 66 cases in Baotou, 40 cases in Hulunbeier, and 40 cases in Erdos. Hulunbeier City, 40 cases, Xing’an League 23 cases, Tongliao City 1 case, Chifeng City 23 cases, Xilin Gol League Erlianhot City 1 case, Ulanqab City 12 cases, Erdos City 8 cases, Bayannur City 25 cases, and Alashan League 1 case.
Hohhot has 3955 positive cases and 435 high-risk areas
On the 11th, Hohhot City of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region held a press conference on the prevention and control of the epidemic, saying that Hohhot has 3955 positive infections and the number of medium and high-risk areas has increased to 551.
Liu Yuanjun, a secondary researcher of Hohhot Health and Health Commission, introduced that from 0:00 to 24:00 on October 10, there were 113 new confirmed cases of new crown pneumonia in Hohhot, including 42 cases of asymptomatic infected people to be confirmed; 574 new asymptomatic infected people; 22 new confirmed cases were cured and discharged from the hospital.
As of 24:00 on October 10, there were 885 confirmed cases and 3070 asymptomatic cases in Hohhot.
Since October 11, Hohhot has adjusted the risk level of some areas, and after the adjustment, the city now has 435 high-risk areas and 116 medium-risk areas.

Hohhot stopped testing for one day for the area without new positive infections for 7 consecutive days
Hohhot epidemic prevention and control press conference (49th) informed that on October 11 Hohhot continued to focus on regional nucleic acid testing in the middle and high risk areas of Xincheng District, Huimin District, Yuchuan District, Saihan District, Tuzuo Banner, To County, Wuchuan County.
