From 0 to 24:00 on October 12, there were 64 new local confirmed cases in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, including 9 cases in Tianshan District of Urumqi, 5 cases in Shaibak District, 11 cases in Gaoxin District (including 2 cases of asymptomatic infected persons to confirmed cases), 9 cases in Shuimangu District, 3 cases in Jingkai District, 4 cases in Middong District, 10 cases in Yining City of Ili Prefecture, 2 cases in Usu City of Tacheng District, 5 cases in Gaochang District of Turpan City, Bazhou Kullu City 6 cases.
There were 339 new cases of indigenous asymptomatic infections, including 46 cases in Tianshan District, 42 cases in Shaibak District, 31 cases in Gaoxin District, 37 cases in Shuimangu District, 22 cases in Jingkai District, 27 cases in Middong District, Urumqi
Yining City, Yili Prefecture, 51 cases, Yining County, 4 cases, Usu City, Tacheng Region, 22 cases, Tulufan City, Gaochang District, 23 cases, Kullu City, Bazhou 34 cases.
From 0:00 to 24:00 on October 12, 1 new local confirmed case was cured and discharged from hospital in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region; 50 new local asymptomatic infected persons were released from isolation for medical observation; 1 new overseas imported asymptomatic infected person was released from isolation for medical observation.
As of 24:00 on October 12, there were 332 local confirmed cases in the XUAR; 2 overseas imported confirmed cases; 2495 local asymptomatic infections; and 2 overseas imported asymptomatic infections.
