Three new indigenous confirmed cases and 44 new indigenous asymptomatic infections were diagnosed yesterday

The Shanghai Municipal Health Commission informed this morning (October 13) that from 0-24 hours on October 12, 2022, there were 3 new confirmed cases of indigenous New Coronary Pneumonia and 44 asymptomatic infections in Shanghai, of which 2 confirmed cases and 43 asymptomatic infections were found in isolation control. There were 2 new confirmed cases of imported NCCP from abroad and 17 asymptomatic infections, all of which were found in closed-loop control.

From 00-24 hours on October 12, 2022, there were 3 new confirmed cases of indigenous neocrown pneumonia.

Case 1, residing in Baoshan District, was associated with a concordance with an outbreak in a foreign province, and was found to be abnormal in the standing nucleic acid test, which was reviewed by the city and district CDC and was found to be positive. After municipal expert consultation, comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging findings, etc., the diagnosis was made as a confirmed case. Case 2, residing in Jinshan District, is a close contact of native asymptomatic infected person 1. During the isolation and control period, the nucleic acid test results of the new coronavirus were abnormal, and the results were reviewed by the CDC as positive. The diagnosis was made as a confirmed case by combining epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging results.

Case 3, residing in Qingpu District, was a close contact of the previously reported infected person from other provinces returning to Shanghai in the city. The nucleic acid test results of the new coronavirus were abnormal during the isolation and control period, and the results were reviewed by the CDC as positive. The comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging findings were diagnosed as a confirmed case.

From 00-24 hours on October 12, 2022, there were 44 new cases of indigenous asymptomatic infections.

Case 2 was a Chinese national working in France who arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on October 10, 2022 from France and was placed under intensive quarantine upon entry for observation. Two cases of overseas imported confirmed cases have been transferred to designated medical institutions for treatment, and 43 close contacts of the same flight have been traced, all of whom have been implemented for centralized isolation and observation.

Asymptomatic infected person 2 was of Chinese nationality, visiting relatives in Hong Kong, departed from Hong Kong and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on October 7, 2022, and was centrally isolated for observation upon entry, during which routine nucleic acid testing was abnormal. After screening, the nucleic acid test result of the district CDC for new coronavirus was positive. Comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging findings were diagnosed as asymptomatic infections.

Asymptomatic infected person 3 – asymptomatic infected person 6 were all Chinese nationals, asymptomatic infected person 7 was a resident of Taiwan, asymptomatic infected person 3 – asymptomatic infected person 5 was visiting relatives in the United States, asymptomatic infected person 6 was working in the United States, asymptomatic infected person 7 was living in the United States, asymptomatic infected person 3 – asymptomatic Infected person 7 departed from the United States on the same flight and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on October 8, 2022, and was centrally isolated for observation upon entry, during which routine nucleic acid testing was abnormal. Asymptomatic infected patients8-asymptomatic infected patients10 were all of Malaysian nationality, living in Malaysia, departed from Malaysia, took the same flight, arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on October 9, 2022, and were centrally isolated for observation upon entry, during which routine nucleic acid testing was abnormal. After screening, the nucleic acid test result of the district CDC for new coronavirus was positive. Comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging findings were diagnosed as asymptomatic infections.

Asymptomatic infected patients11 were Chinese nationals living in Canada, departed from Canada, arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on October 10, 2022, and were centrally isolated for observation upon entry, during which routine nucleic acid testing was abnormal. After screening, the nucleic acid test result of the district CDC for new coronavirus was positive. Asymptomatic infected person 12-asymptomatic infected person 15 were all of Chinese nationality. The asymptomatic infected person17 was of Chinese nationality, working in the Netherlands, departed from the Netherlands and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on October 11, 2022, and was placed under intensive quarantine observation upon entry, during which routine nucleic acid testing was abnormal. After screening, the nucleic acid test result of the district CDC for new coronavirus was positive. Comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging findings were diagnosed as asymptomatic infections.

Seventeen cases of imported asymptomatic infections from abroad have been transferred to designated medical institutions for medical observation, and 182 close contacts of the same flight have been tracked, all of whom have been implemented for centralized isolation and observation.

From 0-24 hours on October 12, 2022, 18 cases of asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation, including 6 cases of local asymptomatic infected persons and 12 cases of overseas imported asymptomatic infected persons.

From 0:00 on July 3, 2022 to 24:00 on October 12, 2022, a total of 192 cases were confirmed locally, 195 cases were cured and discharged, 21 cases were treated in hospital, and 0 cases died; 981 cases of asymptomatic infections were reported. There are 0 suspected cases to be ranked.
