The reporter learned from the Beijing Municipal Health Commission that Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei have established a joint prevention and control mechanism for the new crown pneumonia epidemic, establishing close communication links in terms of emergency consultation, epidemic information sharing, risk control linkage, experience sharing and consultation of critical cases.

Mutual recognition of test results among 485 medical institutions

The relevant person in charge of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission today (Oct. 13) introduced that since the 18th Party Congress, Beijing has thoroughly implemented the strategic plan of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development, orderly promoted the cooperation of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei key medical and health projects, and promoted the construction of the capital city circle.

At present, the total number of medical institutions that mutually recognize clinical test results in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei has reached 485 (262 in Beijing, 67 in Tianjin and 156 in Hebei), with 43 items of mutual recognition of clinical test results, covering second- and third-level medical institutions, independent medical testing laboratories and private medical institutions that meet the requirements. The number of medical institutions sharing medical imaging examination data reached 239 (59 in Beijing, 50 in Tianjin and 130 in Hebei), and 21 items of medical imaging examination data were shared.

Comprehensive cooperation in the field of public health in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei has been promoted in an orderly manner. The health departments of the three places have signed more than 20 cooperation framework agreements, continued to promote collaborative cooperation in disease prevention and control, health emergency response, maternal and child health, geriatric health, mental health, comprehensive supervision, food safety, etc. Through various forms such as business exchanges, holding training, organizing drills and building sharing platforms, Hebei and other places have been driven to improve their public health Service level.

At present, Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei have achieved the sharing of information such as nucleic acid testing and mutual recognition of results. The Municipal Health and Wellness Committee instructed the CDC to continue to implement the requirements of the coordination and notification mechanism of the epidemic in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, to strengthen the communication of information on the epidemic and the information on the personnel involved in the epidemic, and to handle the relevant coordination information in a timely manner to prevent the spillover of the epidemic.

Continuously promoting central and municipal hospitals such as China-Japan Friendship Hospital, Anzhen Hospital and Friendship Hospital to support medical institutions in the northern three counties, focusing on supporting departments of gastroenterology, respiratory and critical care medicine, neurology, neurosurgery and cardiology to fill the shortage of local medical resources. Support to help Hebei Yanda Hospital become a Grade IIIA general hospital and establish a platform for remote radiological imaging diagnosis and remote pathology diagnosis to promote more patients to seek medical treatment closer to home.

Eleven hospitals in Beijing have docked and cooperated with nine hospitals in Zhangjiakou City, and in total they have guided the partner hospitals to set up 29 new departments, train 57 discipline leaders, declare 95 national, provincial and municipal scientific research projects, and carry out 54 new technologies. For example, Tiantan Hospital helped Zhangjiakou No. 1 Hospital to prepare and build the first clinical treatment center for vertigo in Zhangjiakou; Jishuitan Hospital helped Zhangjiakou No. 2 Hospital to undertake the protection tasks of many large domestic and international major sports events, built the Olympic protection team, and successfully completed the emergency protection tasks of the Winter Olympic and Winter Paralympic Games. In addition, Beijing Children’s Hospital hosted Baoding Children’s Hospital, and the Stem Cell Transplantation Department of the National Children’s Medical Center was officially inaugurated in Baoding Children’s Hospital, which has strongly improved the level of local pediatric medical service capacity. The “Beijing Lang” and “Beijing Heng” TCM collaborative development project has been continuously implemented, with 25 key specialties, 20 medical associations and 28 famous TCM rooms and stations built.
