New crown pneumonia epidemic in Guangdong Province on October 15, 2022

From 0 to 24 hours on October 14, there were 57 new local confirmed cases in the province (20 in Guangzhou, 26 in Shenzhen, 9 in Foshan, 1 in Dongguan and 1 in Zhongshan); 29 new local asymptomatic infections (8 in Guangzhou, 10 in Shenzhen, 1 in Huizhou and 10 in Dongguan); and 3 local asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (3 in Guangzhou). The province has 21 new confirmed cases of imported foreign cases (Guangzhou 5, Shenzhen 13, Zhuhai 1, Foshan 2); 14 new cases of imported foreign asymptomatic infections (Guangzhou 2, Shenzhen 4, Zhuhai 1, Foshan 3, Dongguan 2, Zhongshan 2); 3 other cases of imported foreign asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (Guangzhou 1, Zhuhai 1, Foshan 1).
There were 36 new cases discharged from the province (17 cases imported from abroad), and 672 cases are currently in the hospital (191 cases imported from abroad); 23 new cases of asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation (11 cases imported from abroad), and 384 cases of asymptomatic infections are still under medical observation (167 cases imported from abroad).
As of 24:00 on October 14, the province reported a total of 21,596 positive cases of new coronary pneumonia (13,403 cases imported from abroad), including 10,843 confirmed cases (5,616 cases imported from abroad) and 10,753 asymptomatic cases (7,787 cases imported from abroad).
