Macau: Adjustment of health management measures for people entering from foreign countries, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Taiwan from October 15

The Macau SAR Government website announced on October 14 that the Macau New Coronavirus Infection Response Coordination Center has adjusted the health management measures for people entering Macau from foreign countries, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan starting from October 15.

Upon entry into Macau, the above-mentioned persons are required to undergo 7 days of intensive isolation medical observation, 3 days of self-health management (Code Yellow) and 4 days of self-health monitoring (Code Green, but they should pay attention to their health and avoid parties, etc.), i.e. “7+3+4”. After the adjustment from October 15, the 4 days of self-health monitoring will be cancelled, which will become “7+3”.

As for the nucleic acid testing requirements after the release of centralized isolation medical observation, from October 15, adjusted to the day of release (day 0) according to the 0, 1, 2, 3 days of testing requirements, abolished the current 5th and 7th day of testing requirements.
