On October 14, from 0-24 hours, there were 8 new local confirmed cases in Jiangsu (2 cases in Nanjing, 2 cases in Wuxi, and 1 case in Nantong, which was found in a centralized isolation site. 1 case in Xuzhou City, an asymptomatic infected person turned into a confirmed case. 1 case in Changzhou City, a person from other provinces to Suzhou. 1 case in Taizhou City, found by community screening. (All cases were isolated and treated in designated hospitals). There were 22 new cases of local asymptomatic infections (3 cases in Nanjing, 2 cases were positive persons in close contact, 1 case was found by community screening. 1 case in Wuxi, 5 cases in Xuzhou, 5 cases in Suzhou, 2 cases in Nantong, and 3 cases in Lianyungang, which were found in centralized isolation sites. One case in Huai’an City was found in people from other provinces to Suzhou. (2 cases in Taizhou City, 1 case was found in high-risk area screening and 1 case was found in community screening). All the above people are under quarantine medical management in designated hospitals.

Four new confirmed cases were imported from abroad (three from Hong Kong and one from Italy, all of which were treated in isolation at the designated hospital in Nanjing), and three new asymptomatic infected persons were imported from abroad. Four new cases were discharged (all local) and 22 asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical isolation (7 local and 15 imported from abroad).
