In the early morning of October 15, 2022, Linyi City detected 3 cases of positive infection of New Crown pneumonia in the nucleic acid test of key management personnel, including 1 case in Tancheng County and 2 cases in Fei County. All were diagnosed by the expert group as asymptomatic infections of New Crown pneumonia.

Asymptomatic infected person 1: freelancer, abnormal nucleic acid test results on October 14, rechecked positive by the city CDC in the early morning of the 15th.

Asymptomatic infected persons 2-3: out-of-province truck drivers and co-drivers, with abnormal nucleic acid test results on October 14 and a positive recheck by the CDC in the early hours of the 15th.

Up to now, there are still 8 cases of asymptomatic infected persons in the city’s municipal designated hospitals for isolation and observation treatment.

At present, the above asymptomatic infected persons have been transferred to the municipal designated hospital for isolation and observation treatment. The work of traceability, isolation and transfer, and nucleic acid testing is underway, and relevant information will be released in a timely manner.
