Jiangsu added 2 new local confirmed cases 22 new local asymptomatic infections

According to the official WeChat news of Jiangsu Health Commission, from 0 to 24 hours on October 18, there were 2 new local confirmed cases in Jiangsu (2 cases in Nanjing, 1 case of asymptomatic infections turned into confirmed cases and 1 case found in a centralized isolation site), all of which were treated in isolation in designated hospitals.

There were 22 new cases of indigenous asymptomatic infections (4 cases in Nanjing, found in centralized isolation sites. Xuzhou City 6 cases, 1 case was found in the key area screening, 5 cases were found in the centralized isolation site. 4 cases in Nantong, 2 cases were found by screening of non-closed-loop management key personnel and 2 cases were found by centralized isolation sites. In Taizhou City, there were 8 cases, 1 case was found in the closed-loop management key personnel screening and 7 cases were found in the centralized isolation site), and all the above people were under isolation medical management in the designated hospitals.

One new confirmed case was imported from abroad (imported from Korea, asymptomatic infected person turned into confirmed case, isolated and treated in Nanjing designated hospital), and three new asymptomatic infected persons were imported from abroad. There were 16 new cases discharged from the hospital (13 local cases and 3 imported from abroad) and 23 asymptomatic cases released from medical isolation (20 local cases and 3 imported from abroad).

Details of the new confirmed cases and asymptomatic infected persons are released by the relevant district cities.

At present, there are 107 confirmed cases (67 local cases and 40 imported cases) and 284 asymptomatic cases (246 local cases and 38 imported cases) under quarantine medical management in designated hospitals.
