No new indigenous confirmed cases in Shandong Province on October 18, 12 new indigenous asymptomatic infections

From 0:00 to 24:00 on October 18, 2022, no new local confirmed cases were reported in the province. 1 case was detected at the centralized isolation site; 1 case in Heze was detected by the key personnel screening for people returning to Lu from outside the province. No new confirmed cases were imported from abroad. There were 3 new cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad, all in Qingdao, 2 from Germany and 1 from Korea.
From 00:00 to 24:00 on October 18, 2022, the province reported one case of overseas imported asymptomatic infected person who became a confirmed case in Qingdao.
Between 0000 and 2400 hours on October 18, 2022, two local confirmed cases were discharged from the province, including one case in Jinan and one case in Dongying. Ten cases of local asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation, including three cases in Linyi, three cases in Liaocheng, one case in Dongying, one case in Jining, one case in Dezhou and one case in Heze. The province discharged 1 case of confirmed cases imported from abroad, in Qingdao. Three cases of asymptomatic infected persons imported from abroad were released from medical observation, including two cases in Qingdao and one case in Yantai.
As of 24:00 on October 18, 2022, there were 15 confirmed local cases and 165 local asymptomatic infections in the province. The province has 11 confirmed cases of overseas importation and 19 cases of overseas importation of asymptomatic infections.
