7 new confirmed cases and 113 asymptomatic infections in Xinjiang on Oct. 20

Xinjiang Health Commission informed that from 0 to 24 hours on October 20, there were 7 new confirmed cases in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, including 2 cases in Tianshan District, 2 cases in Shaibak District, 1 case in Shuimangu District, Urumqi City, and 2 cases in Yining City, Ili Prefecture.
There were 113 new cases of asymptomatic infection, including 15 cases in Tianshan District, 12 cases in Shaibak District, 12 cases in Gaoxin District, 9 cases in Shuimangu District, 8 cases in Jingkai District and 8 cases in Middong District of Urumqi, 24 cases in Yining City and 2 cases in Yining County of Ili Prefecture, 6 cases in Usu City of Tacheng District, 9 cases in Gaocang District of Turpan City and 8 cases in Korla City of Bazhou.
From 0 to 24:00 on October 20, 24 new confirmed cases were cured and discharged from the hospital in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region; 210 new asymptomatic infected persons were released from isolation for medical observation.
As of 24:00 on October 20, there were 306 confirmed cases in XUAR; 3318 cases of asymptomatic infected persons.
