New crown pneumonia epidemic in Guangdong Province on October 26, 2022

From 0 to 24:00 on October 25, there were 45 new local confirmed cases in the province (27 in Guangzhou, 2 in Shenzhen, 4 in Foshan, 1 in Huizhou, 10 in Jiangmen and 1 in Yangjiang); 67 new local asymptomatic infections (46 in Guangzhou, 3 in Shenzhen, 6 in Foshan, 7 in Meizhou, 1 in Huizhou, 1 in Jiangmen and 3 in Jieyang). There were 5 new cases of overseas imported confirmed cases in the province (1 case in Guangzhou, 4 cases in Shenzhen); 27 new cases of overseas imported asymptomatic infections (22 cases in Guangzhou, 2 cases in Shenzhen, 3 cases in Dongguan); and 1 case of overseas imported asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (1 case in Foshan).
There were 56 new cases discharged from the province (19 cases imported from abroad), and 572 cases are currently in the hospital (157 cases imported from abroad); 35 new cases of asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation (15 cases imported from abroad), and 881 cases of asymptomatic infections are still under medical observation (236 cases imported from abroad).
As of 24:00 on October 25, the province has reported a total of 22,975 cases of new positive pneumonia infections (13,815 imported from abroad), including 11,353 confirmed cases (5,777 imported from abroad) and 11,622 asymptomatic infections (8,038 imported from abroad).
