November 16, 0-24 hours, the province’s new local confirmed cases 307 cases (275 cases in Guangzhou, Shenzhen 6 cases, Shaoguan 1 case, Heyuan 1 case, Huizhou 1 case, Zhongshan 2 cases, Yangjiang 2 cases, Zhanjiang 3 cases, Zhaoqing 15 cases, Qingyuan 1 case); new local asymptomatic infected 8576 cases (Guangzhou 8486 cases, Shenzhen 1 case, Zhuhai 8 cases, Foshan 18 cases, Shaoguan 1 case, Huizhou 1 case The new cases of local asymptomatic infections are 8,576 (Guangzhou 8,486, Shenzhen 1, Zhuhai 8, Foshan 18, Shaoguan 1, Huizhou 1, Dongguan 29, Zhongshan 2, Jiangmen 3, Yangjiang 3, Zhanjiang 2, Maoming 4, Zhaoqing 17, Jieyang 1); another 939 cases of local asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (Guangzhou 914, Zhuhai 1, Shantou 1, Dongguan 19, Zhongshan 1, Maoming 2, Qingyuan 1). There were 10 new confirmed cases imported from abroad (3 cases in Guangzhou, 5 cases in Shenzhen, 2 cases in Zhongshan); 12 new cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad (2 cases in Guangzhou, 3 cases in Shenzhen, 2 cases in Zhuhai, 2 cases in Foshan, 2 cases in Dongguan, 1 case in Jiangmen).

The province has 248 new discharges (14 cases imported from abroad) and 6972 cases are currently in hospital (186 cases imported from abroad); 219 new cases of asymptomatic infections have been released from medical observation (18 cases imported from abroad) and 40541 cases of asymptomatic infections are still under medical observation (184 cases imported from abroad).

As of 24:00 on November 16, the province has reported 74,285 positive cases of new coronary pneumonia (14,563 cases imported from abroad), including 20,034 confirmed cases (6,072 cases imported from abroad) and 54,251 asymptomatic cases (8,491 cases imported from abroad).
