From 0:00 to 24:00 on November 16, 2022, 12 new confirmed local cases were reported in the city, including 5 cases of light type and 7 cases of common type; all were reported in Shibei District; all were detected at the centralized isolation site. There were 3 new cases of local asymptomatic infections, including 1 case in Shibei District, 1 case in Licang District (a person returning to Qinghai from outside the province) and 1 case in Jimo District (a person returning to Qinghai from outside the province); all were detected at the centralized isolation site. No new confirmed cases were imported from abroad; 2 new cases of asymptomatic infections were imported from Japan, and the above-mentioned people implemented epidemic prevention and control measures in accordance with the regulations after entry.

From 0:00 to 24:00 on November 16, 2022, the city’s local confirmed cases were discharged from 3 hospitals (2 in Shibei District and 1 in Huangdao District), and 11 local asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation (9 in Shibei District, 1 in Shinnan District and 1 in Licang District). There was one confirmed case of overseas importation in the city (imported from the United Arab Emirates) and 15 cases of overseas importation of asymptomatic infected persons released from medical observation (13 cases imported from the United Arab Emirates, 1 case imported from South Korea and 1 case imported from Hong Kong, China).

As of 24:00 on November 16, 2022, there were 59 confirmed local cases and 157 local asymptomatic infections in the city. There are 7 confirmed cases imported from abroad and 58 cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad in the city.
