21 new indigenous confirmed cases and 121 indigenous asymptomatic infections in Jiangsu

According to the official microblogging news of Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission, from 0-24 hours on the 17th, there were 21 new local confirmed cases in Jiangsu (4 cases in Nanjing, 2 of which were asymptomatic infections turned into confirmed cases; 8 cases in Lianyungang; 8 cases in Yancheng; 1 case in Taizhou. All in designated hospitals for isolation treatment), 121 new local asymptomatic infections (4 cases in Nanjing, 2 cases in Wuxi, 14 cases in Xuzhou, 34 cases in Suzhou, 9 cases in Nantong, 32 cases in Lianyungang, 1 case in Huai’an, 12 cases in Yancheng, 8 cases in Yangzhou, 2 cases in Zhenjiang, 1 case in Taizhou, and 2 cases in Suqian. All in designated hospitals to receive isolation medical management). Among them, 51 cases were returned to Suzhou from other provinces; 111 cases were in centralized isolation, home isolation and other control states.
There were 2 new confirmed cases imported from abroad (1 case from Japan and 1 case from South Korea, both in Nanjing designated hospitals for isolation treatment) and 1 new case of asymptomatic infected person imported from abroad. There were 5 new cases discharged from the hospital (4 local cases and 1 imported case) and 12 asymptomatic infected persons released from isolation medical management (11 local cases and 1 imported case).
Details of the new confirmed cases and asymptomatic infected persons are released by the relevant district cities.
At present, there are 149 confirmed cases (132 local cases and 17 imported cases) and 593 asymptomatic cases (566 local cases and 27 imported cases) under isolation medical management in designated hospitals.
