New crown pneumonia epidemic in Dongguan City on November 21, 2022

On November 21, 0-24 hours, the city added 11 cases of asymptomatic infections (3 cases in Dalang Town, 3 cases in Houjie Town, 2 cases in Tangxia Town, 1 case in Machong Town, 1 case in Nancheng Street, and 1 case in Huangjiang Town). Among them, 5 cases were found in the centralized isolation, 1 case was found in the closed-loop management of key personnel screening, 1 case was found in the close contact screening, 2 cases were found in the non-closed-loop management of key personnel screening, 1 case was found in the active consultation, and 1 case was found in the community screening. The situation was as follows.

Asymptomatic infected person 1-2, residing in Zhufo Ling community, Tangxia Town.

Asymptomatic infected person 3, residing in Ting Shan community, Houjie town.

Asymptomatic infected person 4, residing in Horizontal Village, Dalang Town, is a person returning to Dongguan from other provinces.

Asymptomatic infected person 5, living in Chuanchu Village, Machong Town, is a truck driver returning to Dongguan from other cities.

Asymptomatic infected persons 1-5 were found among the close contacts in centralized isolation.

Asymptomatic infected person 6, found in the closed-loop management key personnel screening. He is a truck driver from other provinces who arrived in Huangjiang Town on November 21 and was included in the control, and has no social activities in our city.

Asymptomatic infected person 7, living in Huangcun community of Nancheng Street, found in the screening of non-closed-loop management key personnel. He was returned to Dongguan from other provinces and arrived at Nancheng Street in the evening of November 20. 13-16 November were negative for nucleic acid. 20 November landed with positive results for nucleic acid of the new coronavirus, and later tested positive for nucleic acid of the new coronavirus by the city CDC.

Asymptomatic infected person 8, living in Houjie town Ting Shan community, in the non-closed loop management of key personnel screening found. He arrived in Houjie Town on the evening of November 19 and was negative for nucleic acid from November 14 to 18. The initial screening result was positive for neo-coronavirus on November 20 and was later tested positive for nucleic acid for neo-coronavirus by the Municipal CDC.

Asymptomatic infected patients 9-10, all residing in Dalang town level village.

Among them, asymptomatic infected person 9 was found in the active consultation. On November 19, he was negative for nucleic acid, and on November 20, his initial screening result was positive for neo-coronavirus, and later he was tested positive for nucleic acid by the city CDC. Asymptomatic infected person 10 was found as a co-inhabitant in the close contact screening.

Asymptomatic infected person 11, found in community screening. He was a truck driver from a foreign city who arrived in Houjie Town on November 20, and his initial screening result was positive for nucleic acid of the new coronavirus on the same day, and later tested positive for nucleic acid of the new coronavirus by the Municipal CDC.

1 new case of overseas imported asymptomatic infected person in Dongguan

From 00:00 to 24:00 on November 21, 2022, there was one new case of overseas imported asymptomatic infections in the city.

One new case of overseas imported asymptomatic infected person was imported from the United States. After entering the country, he was transferred to a centralized isolation site according to the whole closed-loop management procedure and tested positive for nucleic acid of the new coronavirus during the isolation period, that is, he was transferred to the Ninth People’s Hospital of Dongguan for isolation treatment.

New crown pneumonia outbreak in Guangdong Province

3 cases, Shantou 5 cases, Foshan 190 cases, Heyuan 1 case, Meizhou 12 cases, Huizhou 2 cases, Shanwei 1 case, Dongguan 11 cases, Zhongshan 5 cases, Jiangmen 1 case, Yangjiang 6 cases, Zhanjiang 12 cases, Zhaoqing 11 cases, Qingyuan 8 cases, Jieyang 2 cases); another 434 cases of local asymptomatic infected people to confirmed cases (Guangzhou 428 cases, Zhuhai 5 cases, Zhongshan 1 case). There were 35 new cases of confirmed cases imported from abroad (17 cases in Guangzhou, 11 cases in Shenzhen, 1 case in Zhuhai, 5 cases in Foshan, 1 case in Jiangmen); 25 new cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad (15 cases in Guangzhou, 8 cases in Shenzhen, 1 case in Zhuhai, 1 case in Dongguan).

In the province, 611 new cases were discharged (25 cases imported from abroad) and 9555 cases are currently in hospital (234 cases imported from abroad); 1004 new cases of asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation (25 cases imported from abroad) and 75340 cases of asymptomatic infected persons are still under medical observation (221 cases imported from abroad).

As of 24:00 on November 21, the province reported a total of 118,589 positive cases of new pneumonia (14,811 cases imported from abroad), including 25,523 confirmed cases (6,199 cases imported from abroad) and 93,066 asymptomatic cases (8,612 cases imported from abroad).
