According to the announcement made by the Macau SAR Government on December 25, in order to effectively triage people with different levels of NCCV infection, residents will be triaged through the “NCCV Self-Assessment and Appointment Platform” at four levels, including: home isolation, community outpatient clinics for infected persons (hereafter referred to as community outpatient clinics), community treatment centers (Macau Egg), or special emergency clinics at the Earl Grey General Hospital. or to the Special Emergency Department of the Earl Yan General Hospital. Since December 12, the Community Clinic has provided outpatient services to more than 23,000 patients with low treatment needs, effectively diverting residents from the hospital emergency department.

The Macau Novel Coronavirus Infection Response Coordination Center (hereafter referred to as the Response Coordination Center) continues to dynamically study the setting of community outpatient clinics, and has increased the number of community outpatient clinics from 3 to 15 since December 12, with daily operating hours from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, located in the Macau Peninsula, Taipa and Coloane. Recently, the number of residents visiting the community clinics, compared to the peak of about 3,800 a few days ago, has dropped in the last two days. According to the development of the epidemic, the Response Coordination Center will continue to increase the number of outpatient clinics or provide services to residents in other convenient ways as planned.

In addition, in order to make it easier for the public to obtain information on epidemic prevention, the number of requests for help has decreased recently, and in the past three days, it has maintained a daily average of about 1,800 consultations to residents. Since its launch on December 14, the hotline has received over 30,000 inquiries, including 51.14% on medical matters, 15.61% on home arrangements, 3.58% on specialized transportation, 2.49% on emotional support and others.
