No new local confirmed cases, 6 new local asymptomatic infections in Shanghai yesterday

On September 29, 2022 from 00-24 hours, there were no new confirmed cases of indigenous New Coronary Pneumonia and 6 new indigenous asymptomatic infections, all of which were found in isolation control. There were 14 new confirmed cases of imported extranational New Crown pneumonia and 8 new asymptomatic infections, all of which were found in closed-loop control.

There were no new confirmed cases of indigenous New Coronary Pneumonia from 0-24 hours on September 29, 2022.

Asymptomatic infected person 1, residing in Pudong New Area, and asymptomatic infected person 2 – asymptomatic infected person 6, residing in Minhang District, are close contacts of foreign notified one positive infected person in Shanghai. Case 4 was a French national who traveled in Korea and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport from Korea on September 26, 2022, and was placed under intensive quarantine observation upon entry, during which she developed symptoms. The epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging findings were combined to diagnose a confirmed case.

Case 8 and case 9 are both of Chinese nationality, case 8 is visiting relatives in the United States, and case 9 is working in the United States. Case 8 and case 9 departed from the United States on the same flight and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on September 27, 2022, and were placed under centralized isolation and observation upon entry, during which they developed symptoms. Case 12 and case 13, both of Chinese nationality, worked in Germany, departed from Germany on the same flight, arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on September 28, 2022, and were placed under centralized isolation and observation upon entry, during which they developed symptoms. The epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging findings were combined to diagnose a confirmed case.

Case 14 was a Chinese national who studied in the United Kingdom and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on September 28, 2022 from the United Kingdom with a connecting flight via Denmark, and was placed under intensive quarantine for observation upon entry, during which she developed symptoms. Comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging findings were used to diagnose a confirmed case.

Fourteen overseas imported confirmed cases have been transferred to designated medical institutions for treatment, and 217 close contacts of the same flight have been traced, all of whom have been implemented for centralized isolation and observation.

After screening, the nucleic acid test result of the district CDC for new coronavirus was positive. Comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging findings were diagnosed as asymptomatic infections.

Asymptomatic infected person 6 and asymptomatic infected person 7 were both of Spanish nationality, living in Spain, departed from Spain, took the same flight, arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on September 27, 2022, and were centrally isolated for observation upon entry, during which routine nucleic acid testing was abnormal. After screening, the nucleic acid test result of the district CDC for new coronavirus was positive. Comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging findings were diagnosed as asymptomatic infections.

Asymptomatic infected patients8 were of Chinese nationality, studied in the UK, departed from the UK, transferred via the Netherlands, arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on September 27, 2022, and were centrally isolated for observation upon entry, during which routine nucleic acid testing was abnormal. After screening, the nucleic acid test result of the district CDC for new coronavirus was positive. Comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging findings were diagnosed as asymptomatic infections.

Eight cases of imported asymptomatic infections from abroad have been transferred to designated medical institutions for medical observation, and 272 close contacts of the same flight have been tracked and all have been implemented for centralized isolation and observation.

On September 29, 2022 from 0-24 hours, 7 cases of asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation, including 1 case of local asymptomatic infected person and 6 cases of overseas imported asymptomatic infected persons.

From 0:00 on July 3, 2022 to 24:00 on September 29, 2022, a total of 171 cases were confirmed locally, 195 cases were cured and discharged, 0 cases were treated in hospital, and 0 cases died; 761 cases of asymptomatic infections were reported. There are 0 suspected cases to be ranked.
