Liaoning October 16 new native infections “2 + 6”, all reported in Fushun

The Liaoning Health and Wellness Commission informed that from 0-24 hours on October 16, Liaoning Province added 2 new local confirmed cases of new crown pneumonia and 6 new local asymptomatic infections, all of which were reported in Fushun City. There were 6 new cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad, including 3 cases reported in Shenyang and 3 cases in Dalian. Ten cases of local asymptomatic infections and three cases of overseas imported asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation.
As of 24:00 on October 16, the province reported a total of 2016 confirmed cases (including 306 cases imported from abroad), 1903 cases were cured and discharged, 2 cases died, and 111 cases were under hospital treatment (107 local cases and 4 imported cases). At present, 113 asymptomatic infections are still under medical observation (96 local cases and 17 imported cases).
