8 new indigenous confirmed cases in Xinjiang on October 17 133 new indigenous asymptomatic infections

From 00:00 to 24:00 on October 17, there were 8 new confirmed local cases in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, including 2 cases in Tianshan District, 2 cases in Shaybak District, 1 case in Gaoxin District (new urban area), 1 case in Shuimangu District, and 2 cases in Yining City, Ili Prefecture.

There were 133 new cases of indigenous asymptomatic infections, including 20 cases in Tianshan District, 17 cases in Shaibak District, 11 cases in Gaoxin District (New Urban District), 13 cases in Shuimogou District, 9 cases in Jingkai District (Toutunhe District), 11 cases in Middong District of Urumqi City, 23 cases in Yining City and 2 cases in Yining County of Ili Prefecture, 6 cases in Usu City of Tacheng District, 3 cases in Izhou District of Hami City (imported from other provinces), 8 cases in Gaocang District of Turpan City, and 10 cases in Kullu City, Bazhou.

From 0:00 to 24:00 on October 17, 26 new local confirmed cases were cured and discharged from the hospital in XUAR; 54 new local asymptomatic infected persons were released from isolation for medical observation.

As of 24:00 on October 17, there were 356 local confirmed cases in the XUAR; 3428 local asymptomatic cases; and 1 overseas imported asymptomatic case.
