New crown pneumonia epidemic in Guangdong Province on October 24, 2022
October 23, 0-24 hours, the province’s new local confirmed cases of 23 cases (Guangzhou 16 cases, Foshan 1 case, Zhongshan 4 cases, Zhaoqing 1 case, Qingyuan 1 case); new local asymptomatic infected 70 cases (Guangzhou 53 cases, Shenzhen 3 cases, Foshan 8 cases, Meizhou 3 cases, Zhongshan 1 case, Jieyang 2 cases). The province has 14 new confirmed cases of imported foreign cases (Shenzhen 7, Foshan 6, Jiangmen 1); 20 new cases of imported foreign asymptomatic infections (Guangzhou 10, Shenzhen 2, Zhuhai 1, Foshan 6, Dongguan 1); and 5 cases of imported foreign asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (Guangzhou 4, Dongguan 1).
There are 73 new cases discharged from the province (37 cases imported from abroad), and 595 cases are currently in the hospital (168 cases imported from abroad); 29 new cases of asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation (9 cases imported from abroad), and 763 cases of asymptomatic infected persons are still under medical observation (206 cases imported from abroad).
As of 24:00 on October 23, the province reported a total of 22,693 positive cases of new coronary pneumonia (13,738 cases imported from abroad), including 11,257 confirmed cases (5,759 cases imported from abroad) and 11,436 asymptomatic cases (7,979 cases imported from abroad).
