Four new cases of indigenous asymptomatic infections in Foshan, Guangdong yesterday, all found in home isolates

From 0-24 hours on November 1, four new cases of local asymptomatic infections were reported in the city, all of which were found among home isolates.

As of 24:00 on November 1, a total of 634 confirmed cases were reported in the city (including 395 cases imported from abroad).

Cases 1-3 all live in Dali Town, Nanhai District, and on October 31, temporary control was implemented in the district where they were found to be positive, and three people were included in home isolation management.

Case 4 was included in the home isolation management as a person at risk of being involved in the disease due to recent visits to the disease-related places in Dali Town, Nanhai District, and tested positive for nucleic acid on November 1.

Combined with epidemiological investigation, clinical manifestations and laboratory tests, all four were judged to be asymptomatic infected persons and have been transferred to a designated hospital for isolation treatment in a closed loop.

At present, the flow of traceability, isolation control, nucleic acid testing, medical treatment and other disposal work is being carried out in an orderly manner.

Please be sure to carry out a nucleic acid test within 48 hours before returning to the city and province, and after arriving at the Buddha nucleic acid “three days three tests”, during which no meals, no parties, no crowded places. Cross-city commuters who have recently visited medium to high risk areas or cities with local outbreaks are required to come to and return to Buddha with a negative 24-hour nucleic acid test certificate.
