276 new cases were cured and discharged on the same day, of which 62 cases were imported from abroad and 214 local cases (61 cases in Guangdong, 36 cases in Inner Mongolia, 25 cases in Tibet, 20 cases in Shanxi, 13 cases in Beijing, 13 cases in Shaanxi, 7 cases in Fujian, 7 cases in Chongqing, 7 cases in Sichuan, 5 cases in Tianjin, 4 cases in Qinghai, 3 cases in Heilongjiang, 3 cases in Jiangsu, 3 cases in Yunnan, 2 cases in Zhejiang, 2 cases in Xinjiang, 1 case in Hebei, 1 case in (1 case in Shandong, 1 case in Guizhou), 82,733 close contacts released from medical observation, with 1 more serious case than the previous day.

There are 504 confirmed cases (no serious cases) imported from abroad and no existing suspected cases. There are 26,105 confirmed cases and 25,601 cured and discharged cases, with no fatal cases.

As of 24:00 on November 6, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 6617 existing confirmed cases (including 30 severe cases), 252,280 cumulative cured and discharged cases, 5,226 cumulative fatal cases, 264,123 cumulative reported confirmed cases, and no existing suspected cases. A total of 8328964 close contacts have been traced, and 683516 close contacts are still under medical observation.

The cumulative number of confirmed cases received from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan is 8326960 cases. Among them, 438627 cases in Hong Kong SAR (92863 discharges, 10470 deaths), 795 cases in Macao SAR (787 discharges, 6 deaths), and 7887538 cases in Taiwan (13742 discharges, 13198 deaths).
