Guangzhou has 114 new indigenous confirmed cases and 2263 asymptomatic infections

The Guangdong Health Commission today informed that from 0 to 24 hours on November 7, there were 198 new local confirmed cases in the province (114 in Guangzhou, 1 in Shenzhen, 25 in Shantou, 2 in Foshan, 44 in Maoming, 11 in Qingyuan and 1 in Chaozhou); 2,330 new local asymptomatic cases (2,263 in Guangzhou, 30 in Shantou, 3 in Foshan, 4 in Meizhou, 4 in Dongguan, 1 in Jiangmen, 1 in Zhanjiang, 16 in Maoming, 5 in Qingyuan and 3 in Jieyang); and 121 local asymptomatic to confirmed cases (118 in Guangzhou, 1 in Zhuhai, 1 in Maoming and 1 in Qingyuan). (Guangzhou 2,263 cases, Shantou 30 cases, Foshan 3 cases, Meizhou 4 cases, Dongguan 4 cases, Jiangmen 1 case, Zhanjiang 1 case, Maoming 16 cases, Qingyuan 5 cases, Jieyang 3 cases); another 121 cases of local asymptomatic to confirmed cases (Guangzhou 118 cases, Zhuhai 1 case, Maoming 1 case, Qingyuan 1 case). There were 11 new confirmed cases imported from abroad (10 cases in Shenzhen, 1 case in Zhongshan); 25 new cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad (6 cases in Guangzhou, 8 cases in Shenzhen, 1 case in Zhuhai, 1 case in Foshan, 8 cases in Dongguan, 1 case in Zhaoqing); and 1 case of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad to confirmed cases (1 case in Guangzhou).

There were 80 new cases discharged from the province (10 cases imported from abroad), and 2179 cases are currently in the hospital (131 cases imported from abroad); 141 new cases of asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation (17 cases imported from abroad), and 8312 cases of asymptomatic infected persons are still under medical observation (227 cases imported from abroad).

As of 24:00 on November 7, the province has reported a total of 33,930 positive cases of new coronary pneumonia (14,253 cases imported from abroad), including 13,657 confirmed cases (5,923 cases imported from abroad) and 20,273 asymptomatic cases (8,330 cases imported from abroad).
