New crown pneumonia outbreak in Guangdong Province on November 10, 2022

From 0 to 24 hours on November 9, there were 200 new local confirmed cases in the province (125 cases in Guangzhou, 27 cases in Shantou, 1 case in Foshan, 1 case in Dongguan, 32 cases in Maoming, 13 cases in Qingyuan, 1 case in Chaozhou); 2,507 new local asymptomatic infections (2,430 cases in Guangzhou, 2 cases in Shenzhen, 8 cases in Shantou, 5 cases in Foshan, 18 cases in Meizhou, 17 cases in Dongguan, 1 case in Jiangmen, 19 cases in Maoming (Qingyuan 6 cases, Chaozhou 1 case); another 300 cases of local asymptomatic to confirmed cases (Guangzhou 298 cases, Zhaoqing 1 case, Chaozhou 1 case). The province has 13 new confirmed cases of imported foreign cases (Guangzhou 1, Shenzhen 9, Zhuhai 2, Foshan 1); 31 new cases of imported foreign asymptomatic infections (Guangzhou 8, Shenzhen 11, Zhuhai 2, Foshan 3, Dongguan 6, Zhaoqing 1); and 1 case of imported foreign asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (Guangzhou 1).
There are 69 new cases discharged from the province (10 cases imported from abroad) and 3,169 cases in the hospital (143 cases imported from abroad); 143 new cases of asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation (16 cases imported from abroad) and 12,495 cases of asymptomatic infections are still under medical observation (232 cases imported from abroad).
As of 24:00 on November 9, the province has reported 39,527 positive cases of new coronary pneumonia (14,335 cases imported from abroad), including 14,779 confirmed cases (5,953 cases imported from abroad) and 24,748 asymptomatic cases (8,382 cases imported from abroad).
