New crown pneumonia outbreak in Guangdong Province on November 12, 2022

November 11, 0-24 hours, the province’s new local confirmed cases 323 cases (Guangzhou 259 cases, Shenzhen 2 cases, Shantou 10 cases, Foshan 1 case, Shaoguan 1 case, Huizhou 2 cases, Dongguan 1 case, Maoming 29 cases, Zhaoqing 1 case, Qingyuan 17 cases); new local asymptomatic infection 2996 cases (Guangzhou 2921 cases, Shenzhen 5 cases, Zhuhai 1 case, Shantou 5 cases, Foshan 10 cases, Meizhou 16 cases, Huizhou 2 cases, Dongguan 16 cases, Zhongshan 2 cases, Maoming 12 cases, Qingyuan 6 cases); another 437 cases of local asymptomatic to confirmed cases (Guangzhou 435 cases, Maoming 2 cases). There were 9 new confirmed cases imported from abroad (Guangzhou 1 case, Shenzhen 7 cases, Zhuhai 1 case); 15 new asymptomatic cases imported from abroad (Guangzhou 1 case, Shenzhen 4 cases, Zhuhai 3 cases, Foshan 3 cases, Dongguan 4 cases).
The province has 164 new discharges (12 cases imported from abroad), 4253 cases are currently in hospital (152 cases imported from abroad); 162 new cases of asymptomatic infected persons have been released from medical observation (17 cases imported from abroad), and 17007 cases of asymptomatic infected persons are still under medical observation (227 cases imported from abroad).
As of 24:00 on November 11, the province reported a total of 45,661 cases of new positive pneumonia infections (14,400 cases imported from abroad), including 16,117 confirmed cases (5,985 cases imported from abroad) and 29,544 asymptomatic infections (8,415 cases imported from abroad).
