21 new cases of indigenous asymptomatic infections in Xinjiang

Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region People’s Government Information Office held a press conference on the prevention and control of the epidemic. It was informed that from 0:00 to 21:00 on September 15, Xinjiang had 21 new cases of indigenous asymptomatic infections, including 4 cases in Tianshan District, Urumqi City, 4 cases in Yining City, Ili Prefecture, 8 cases in Korla City, Bazhou Prefecture, and 5 cases in Gaochang District, Turpan City. There were 2 new cases of imported asymptomatic infections from other provinces in Yizhou District, Hami City. Four new local confirmed cases were cured and discharged from hospital; eight new local asymptomatic infected persons were released from isolation for medical observation.
