40 new indigenous confirmed cases and 553 new indigenous asymptomatic infections in Jiangsu

From 0 to 24 hours on December 2, there were 40 new local confirmed cases in Jiangsu (11 cases in Nanjing, of which 1 case was an asymptomatic infected person turned into a confirmed case; 6 cases in Wuxi; 1 case in Xuzhou; 5 cases in Suzhou; 2 cases in Lianyungang; 3 cases in Yancheng; 2 cases in Zhenjiang; 10 cases in Suqian), all of which were treated in isolation in designated hospitals. There were 553 new cases of local asymptomatic infections (83 cases in Nanjing, 24 cases in Wuxi, 29 cases in Xuzhou, 35 cases in Changzhou, 70 cases in Suzhou, 37 cases in Nantong, 37 cases in Lianyungang, 30 cases in Huai’an, 22 cases in Yancheng, 60 cases in Yangzhou, 35 cases in Zhenjiang, 41 cases in Taizhou, 50 cases in Suqian), all of which were under isolation medical management in designated hospitals.
There were 4 new confirmed cases imported from abroad (2 from Hong Kong, 1 from Korea and 1 from Thailand, all of which were under quarantine treatment in designated hospitals in Nanjing) and 16 new asymptomatic infections imported from abroad. There were 60 new cases discharged from the hospital (50 local cases and 10 imported from abroad) and 334 asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical isolation (320 local cases and 14 imported from abroad).
Details of the new confirmed cases and asymptomatic infected persons are released by the relevant district cities.
At present, there are 349 confirmed cases (305 local cases and 44 imported cases) and 4247 asymptomatic cases (4151 local cases and 96 imported cases) under medical management in isolation in designated hospitals.
