Shandong Health Commission informed that from 00:00 to 24:00 on December 5, 2022, the province reported 25 new local confirmed cases (including 4 cases of people returning to Lu from outside the province), including 14 cases in Jinan, with 10 cases detected in centralized isolation sites, 3 cases detected in home isolation medical observation and 1 case detected in screening of key personnel; 8 cases in Qingdao (including 3 cases of people returning to Lu from outside the province), with 4 cases detected in centralized isolation sites and 4 cases detected in home 4 cases were detected by medical observation in isolation; 1 case in Rizhao (including 1 case of people returning to Lu from outside the province) was detected by screening of key personnel; 1 case in Liaocheng was detected in a centralized isolation site; 1 case in Binzhou was detected by medical observation in isolation at home. Weihai 19 cases (including 2 cases of people returning to Lu from outside the province), 15 cases detected in centralized isolation sites and 4 cases detected in home isolation medical observation; Liaocheng 18 cases, 10 cases detected in high-risk areas and 8 cases detected in centralized isolation sites; Dongying 17 cases (including 3 cases of people returning to Lu from outside the province), 9 cases detected in centralized isolation sites, 4 cases detected in home isolation medical observation and 2 cases detected by community screening, 1 case detected by key personnel screening and 1 case detected by cross-regional coordination; 16 cases in Dezhou (including 8 cases of people returning to Lu from outside the province), 7 cases detected by key personnel screening, 4 cases detected by home isolation medical observation, 3 cases detected by centralized isolation sites, 1 case detected by high-risk areas and 1 case detected by community screening; 11 cases in Weifang (including 4 cases of people returning to Lu from outside the province), 4 cases detected by centralized isolation sites and 1 case detected by home isolation medical observation. The 11 cases in Weifang (including 4 cases of people returning to Lu from outside the province) were detected in centralized isolation sites, 4 cases in home isolation under medical observation, 2 cases in key personnel screening and 1 case in cross-regional coordination. There was one new confirmed case imported from abroad, which was imported from Korea in Qingdao. There are 2 new cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad, both in Qingdao, 1 case from Japan and 1 case from the United Arab Emirates.

From 0:00 to 24:00 on December 5, 2022, the province discharged 70 local confirmed cases, including 27 cases in Jinan, 17 cases in Qingdao, 12 cases in Taian, 5 cases in Liaocheng, 4 cases in Linyi, 3 cases in Zibo, 1 case in Binzhou, and 1 case in Heze. There were 725 cases of local asymptomatic infected persons released from medical observation, including 213 cases in Jinan, 111 cases in Liaocheng, 85 cases in Zibo, 78 cases in Qingdao, 54 cases in Heze, 51 cases in Linyi, 38 cases in Tai’an, 19 cases in Yantai, 19 cases in Jining, 19 cases in Dezhou, 11 cases in Zaozhuang, 7 cases in Rizhao, 6 cases in Dongying, 5 cases in Weihai, 5 cases in Binzhou, and 4 cases in Weifang. The province discharged 5 cases of confirmed cases imported from abroad, all in Qingdao. Eight cases of asymptomatic infected persons imported from abroad were released from medical observation, including three cases in Qingdao, two cases in Weihai, two cases in Rizhao and one case in Jinan.

As of 24:00 on December 5, 2022, there were 665 confirmed local cases and 9,132 local asymptomatic infections in the province. There are 13 confirmed cases and 49 asymptomatic cases imported from abroad in the province.
