Update on the novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak in Henan Province as of 24:00 September 15, 2022
From 0-24 hours on September 15, there were 2 new cases of asymptomatic infections in Henan Province (all returned to Henan from outside the province, with point-to-point closed-loop management), and no new confirmed local cases. There were 3 new cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad, and no new confirmed cases imported from abroad. 2 local confirmed cases were cured and discharged (1 in Kaifeng and 1 in Anyang). 44 asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation, including 41 local cases (30 in Anyang, 3 in Zhengzhou, 2 in Kaifeng, 2 in Luoyang, 2 in Anyang and 2 in Sanmenxia) and 3 imported cases.
From January 21, 2020 to September 15, 2022 at 2400 hours, Henan Province reported a total of 3317 confirmed cases (3092 local and 225 imported), 26 hospitalized cases (22 local and 4 imported), and 215 asymptomatic infected persons under medical observation (187 local and 28 imported). A total of 170,645 close contacts have been traced, and 1,906 close contacts are under observation.
