As of 24:00 on December 6, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 42,955 confirmed cases (including 128 severe cases), 301,748 cumulative cured and discharged cases, 5,235 cumulative fatal cases, 34,938 cumulative reported confirmed cases, and no existing suspected cases. A total of 14464177 close contacts have been traced, and 1831208 close contacts are still under medical observation.
