35 new cases of indigenous asymptomatic infections in Jiangxi on December 8

Jiangxi Health Commission informed that from 0-24 hours on December 8, 2022, there were no new confirmed indigenous cases in Jiangxi Province, and 2 new confirmed indigenous cases were cured and discharged, 1 case in Jingdezhen City, in Zhushan District; 1 case in Jiujiang City, in Lianxi District. From January 2020 to 24:00 on December 8, 2022, the province reported a cumulative total of 1493 confirmed local cases and a cumulative total of 1478 discharged cases. As of 2400 hours on December 8, 2022, there were 14 confirmed cases of indigenous hospitalization in the province.

From 0-24 hours on December 8, 2022, there was one new confirmed case imported from abroad in Jiangxi Province. From January 2020 to 24:00 on December 8, 2022, the province reported a total of 52 overseas imported confirmed cases and a total of 51 discharged cases. As of 2400 hours on December 8, 2022, there was one confirmed case of overseas importation in the province and no overseas importation of asymptomatic infected persons.

From 0 to 24 hours on December 8, 2022, there were 35 new cases of local asymptomatic infections in Jiangxi Province, 12 cases in Nanchang City, including 4 cases in Xihu District, 1 case in Qingshan Lake District, 3 cases in Honggu Tan District, 2 cases in Nanchang County and 2 cases in Anyi County; 23 cases in Jiujiang City, including 3 cases in Lianxi District, 8 cases in Xunyang District, 9 cases in Chaisang District and 3 cases in Ruichang City. (3 cases in Wuning County; 10 cases in Xinyu City, including 1 case in Yushui District and 9 cases in Fenyi County; 1 case in Yingtan City, in Guixi City; 3 cases in Ji’an City, all in Yongxin County; and 2 cases in Fuzhou City, all in Nanfeng County). As of 24:00 on December 8, 2022, there were 813 cases of indigenous asymptomatic infections in the province, all of which were under isolated medical observation in designated medical institutions.
