Shaanxi added 20 new indigenous confirmed cases and 452 new indigenous asymptomatic infections on December 9

The Shaanxi Health and Wellness Commission informed that from 0-24 hours on December 9, the province reported 472 cases of indigenous new coronavirus infections. There were 20 new local confirmed cases (12 in Weinan, 3 in Ankang, 3 in Hancheng, 1 in Xi’an and 1 in Xianyang), including 18 cases of light type and 2 cases of common type; there were 452 new local asymptomatic infections (178 in Xi’an, 114 in Yulin, 62 in Xianyang, 31 in Weinan, 26 in Shangluo, 17 in Yan’an, 8 in Ankang, 6 in Baoji, 5 in Hanzhong and 5 in Yangling). There were 48 cases discharged from hospital and 232 cases released from medical observation in isolation.

As of 24:00 on December 9, there were 693 cases of confirmed local cases in isolation and 13,554 cases of asymptomatic infected persons under medical observation in isolation.

Xi’an: 179 cases of infected persons were reported (1 confirmed case, 178 asymptomatic infected persons), of which 51 cases were found in home isolation, 42 cases were found in centralized isolation, 39 cases were found in closed-loop management screening for import from outside the province, 21 cases were found in active medical treatment or active medical examination, 17 cases were found in closed-loop management screening for key populations, 6 cases were found in community screening, and 3 cases were found in non-closed-loop screening for key populations. The number of infected persons in Yulin was 114.

Yulin: 114 cases (all asymptomatic) were reported, of which 86 cases were found in home isolation and 28 cases were found in centralized isolation.

Xianyang: 63 cases (1 confirmed case, 62 asymptomatic cases) were reported, of which 24 cases were found in home isolation, 18 cases were found in centralized isolation, 10 cases were found in closed-loop management key population screening, 10 cases were found in closed-loop management screening imported from outside the province, and 1 case was diagnosed in an asymptomatic infected person.

Weinan: 43 cases of infection were reported (12 confirmed cases and 31 asymptomatic cases), of which 18 cases were found in centralized isolation, 12 cases were found in home isolation, 4 cases were found in closed-loop management screening of imported from outside the province, 4 cases were found in active medical treatment or active medical examination, 2 cases were found in community screening, 1 case was found in closed-loop management of key population screening, 1 case was found in high-risk area screening, and 1 case was found in asymptomatic Infected persons were referred to confirm the diagnosis.

Shangluo: 26 cases of infection were reported (all asymptomatic), of which 11 cases were found by centralized isolation, 7 cases were found by active medical treatment or active examination, 4 cases were found by closed-loop management screening for import from outside the province, 2 cases were found by local examination, 1 case was found by home isolation, and 1 case was found by non-closed-loop key population screening.

Yan’an: 17 cases of infection were reported (all asymptomatic), of which 9 cases were found in centralized isolation, 4 cases were found in non-closed-loop key population screening, 2 cases were found in home isolation, 1 case was found in high-risk area screening, and 1 case was found in closed-loop management screening for import from outside the province.

Ankang: 11 cases of infection were reported (3 confirmed cases, 8 asymptomatic cases), of which 9 cases were found in home isolation and 2 cases in centralized isolation.

Baoji: 6 cases of infection were reported (all asymptomatic), of which 2 were found by community screening, 2 by non-closed-loop key population screening, 1 by home isolation, and 1 by closed-loop management key population screening.

Hanzhong: 5 cases were reported (all asymptomatic), all of which were detected by closed-loop management screening outside the province.

Yangling: 5 cases (all asymptomatic) were reported, of which 2 cases were found in centralized isolation, 1 case was found in home isolation, 1 case was found in non-closed-loop key population screening, and 1 case was found in land-based detection.

Hancheng: 3 cases of infection were reported (all were confirmed cases), all of which were found in home isolation.

All of the above infected persons are under isolation treatment or isolated medical observation in designated medical institutions. Details of the cases, activity trajectories and epidemic prevention and control work are released by the relevant epidemic-related cities (districts).

From 0 to 24:00 on December 9, one new confirmed case of overseas importation and one asymptomatic case of infection were reported.

As of 24:00 on December 9, there were 9 cases of confirmed imported cases in isolation and 7 cases of asymptomatic infected persons under medical observation.

Overseas imported confirmed case 1 and asymptomatic infected person 1: they were managed in a closed loop after entry, with no track of their own activities in Shaanxi Province, positive nucleic acid test results, diagnosed by the municipal expert group as a confirmed case of new crown pneumonia or asymptomatic infected person, and are currently under isolation treatment or medical observation in designated medical institutions.
