From 0 to 24 hours on December 18, there were 39 new local confirmed cases in the province (39 cases in Zhengzhou City). There were no new confirmed cases imported from abroad. 18 local confirmed cases were cured and discharged (18 cases in Zhengzhou).
As of 24:00 on December 18, 2022, there were 2,440 hospitalized cases in the province (2,440 local cases).
Henan Provincial Health and Wellness Commission reminds :

- Strengthen health monitoring
Do not panic if you have symptoms. The course of the disease is about 7 days for ordinary patients infected with the new crown, and the fever is mostly 2-3 days. Do home isolation, pay attention to rest, nutrition, symptomatic medication, do not blindly use drugs, excessive medication, if necessary, through the Internet hospital for consultation; asymptomatic people do not need drug treatment. If there is difficulty in breathing or shortness of breath or if the body temperature continues to be higher than 38.5°C for more than three days after medication; or if the original underlying disease is significantly aggravated and cannot be controlled, seek medical treatment promptly.
