Three years ago, on January 23, Zhong Ming rushed to Wuhan to help fight the epidemic, and was stationed in the intensive care unit of Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital, where he plunged into the “eye of the storm” of the epidemic at that time and spent 75 days and nights in the position of treating critically ill patients until the epidemic in Wuhan was under control.

Over the past three years, Zhong Ming has frequently appeared at major epidemic prevention and control sites whenever there were local outbreaks in China, as a member of the National Expert Group on Clinical Treatment of New Coronary Pneumonia Critical Illness and the National Expert Group on Medical Treatment of Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism. He has rushed to Jiangsu, Fujian, Heilongjiang, Henan, Jilin, Guizhou, Hainan and other places to treat patients with severe NCC infection.

In the “Great Shanghai Defense” in 2022, Zhong Ming led a “Zhongshan Team” consisting of specialists from the Department of Critical Care Medicine, Cardiology and Respiratory Medicine to devote himself to the treatment of the elderly with serious illnesses.
