December 9, 0-24 hours, the province’s new local confirmed cases 11 cases (Wuhan City reported, all light), new local asymptomatic infected 235 cases (Wuhan City 209 cases, Huangshi City 5 cases, Suizhou City 4 cases, Yichang City 3 cases, Jingzhou City 3 cases, Jingmen City 3 cases, Xiantao City 3 cases, Qianjiang City 3 cases, Tianmen City 2 cases), new overseas imported confirmed cases 1 case (imported from Hong Kong, China) Qianjiang City 35 cases, Huanggang City 34 cases, Xiangyang City 33 cases, Xiaogan City 32 cases, Xianning City 21 cases, Xiantao City 20 cases, Shennongjia Forest Area 19 cases, Shiyan City 15 cases, Suizhou City 10 cases, Enshi Prefecture 9 cases, Yichang City 4 cases, Tianmen City 2 cases; overseas import 1 case).

As of 24:00 on December 9, there were 255 confirmed local cases (255 cases in Wuhan, all light) and 0 suspected cases treated in designated medical institutions. 6600 cases of local asymptomatic infected persons still under centralized isolation for medical observation (4805 cases in Wuhan, 337 cases in Xiangyang, 273 cases in Jingzhou, 211 cases in Huangshi, 198 cases in Yichang, 170 cases in Huanggang, 95 cases in Suizhou, 79 cases in Shiyan, 76 cases in Enshi, 72 cases in Ezhou, 71 cases in Jingmen, 71 cases in Xianning, 59 cases in Xiantao, 37 cases in Xiaogan, 37 cases in (Qianjiang City 33 cases, Shennongjia Forestry District 13 cases).

There are 38 confirmed cases of overseas imported cases treated in designated medical institutions (3 cases of common type and 35 cases of light type); 16 cases of overseas imported asymptomatic infected persons are still under centralized isolation for medical observation.

In the province, 64,024 cases were cured and discharged, 4,512 cases died, and 68,829 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia were reported. There are 85,874 close contacts who are still under intensive isolation for medical observation.
