13 new local confirmed cases in Beijing

From 00:00 to 24:00 on October 10, there were 13 new local confirmed cases (11 of which were notified) and one asymptomatic case (notified), and no new suspected cases; there were three new overseas imported confirmed cases and four asymptomatic cases, and no new suspected cases. Six cases were cured and discharged from hospital, and five cases of asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation.

Local cases

Confirmed case 1: now lives in Dongsanqi Village, Changping District, and is an isolated observer, diagnosed as a confirmed case on Oct. 10.

Confirmed cases 2 and 11: now living in Dongyao Art District, Chaoyang District, as an isolated observer, diagnosed as confirmed cases on October 10.

Confirmed cases 3 to 8 and 13: now living in Dongyao Village, Chaoyang District, under isolation and observation, diagnosed as confirmed cases on October 10.

Confirmed case 9: now lives in Xinjingjiayuan West, Dongcheng District, is an isolated observer, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 10.

Confirmed case 10: now lives in Xidai Village, Tongzhou District, is an isolated observer, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 10.

Confirmed case 12: now lives in Linxi District, Changping District, is an isolated observer, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 10.

Asymptomatic infected person: now lives in Yanbao Taihu Home in Tongzhou District, is an isolated observer, and was diagnosed as an asymptomatic infected person on October 10.

Confirmed cases imported from abroad

Confirmed case 1: Chinese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Germany on October 9, sent to centralized isolation hotel through closed-loop management, diagnosed as confirmed case on October 10.

Confirmed case 2: German national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Germany via France on October 9, sent to the centralized isolation hotel via closed-loop management, and diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 10.

Confirmed case 3: Chinese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Japan on October 10 and was sent to the centralized isolation hotel under closed-loop management.

All the above cases have been transferred to the designated hospital, epidemiological investigation has been carried out, and control measures have been implemented as required.
