26 new indigenous confirmed cases and 16 indigenous asymptomatic infections in Guangdong on Oct. 3

On October 4, the Guangdong Provincial Health Commission informed that: from 0 to 24 hours on October 3, there were 26 new local confirmed cases in the province (10 cases in Guangzhou, 7 cases in Shenzhen, 2 cases in Foshan, 2 cases in Huizhou, 4 cases in Zhaoqing and 1 case in Qingyuan); 16 new local asymptomatic infections (7 cases in Guangzhou, 4 cases in Shenzhen, 1 case in Shantou, 1 case in Huizhou, 2 cases in Dongguan and 1 case in Zhaoqing); and 1 case of local asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (Shaoguan 1 case). There were 15 new confirmed cases of imported foreign cases (Guangzhou 5, Shenzhen 10); 17 new cases of imported asymptomatic infected persons (Guangzhou 6, Shenzhen 6, Zhuhai 1, Foshan 4); and 4 cases of imported asymptomatic infected persons transferred to confirmed cases (Guangzhou 3, Huizhou 1).
There are 23 new cases discharged from the province (19 cases imported from abroad), 328 cases are currently in the hospital (164 cases imported from abroad); 20 new cases of asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation (19 cases imported from abroad), 229 cases of asymptomatic infections are still under medical observation (129 cases imported from abroad).
As of 24:00 on October 3, the province reported a total of 20,544 positive cases of new coronary pneumonia (12,990 imported from abroad), including 10,177 confirmed cases (5,404 imported from abroad) and 10,367 asymptomatic cases (7,586 imported from abroad).
