27 Guangzhou added 1 new case of indigenous asymptomatic infection

This reporter was informed by the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission that between 0000 and 2400 hours on September 27, 2022, Guangzhou found one case of indigenous asymptomatic infected person during the screening of close contacts included in the centralized isolation control. There were 5 new cases of confirmed cases imported from abroad, 5 cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad, and 1 previously announced case of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad to confirmed cases.
As of 24:00 on September 27, 2022, the city reported a total of 7,014 cases of positive new coronary pneumonia infections. Among them, 3564 cases were confirmed (2503 imported from abroad and 1061 local), 94 cases were still under hospital treatment; 3578 cases were asymptomatic (3308 imported from abroad and 270 local), 56 cases were still under medical observation.
One new case of local asymptomatic infected person: male, 56 years old. A close contact of the case announced by Guangzhou City on September 26 from outside the city, found during the centralized isolation control investigation. He has been transferred to Guangzhou Medical University Hospital No. 8 for isolation treatment and is in stable condition.
Five new cases of confirmed cases and five cases of asymptomatic infected persons imported from abroad.
Five new confirmed cases were imported from abroad, one each from Canada, Kenya and the Netherlands, and two from Vietnam; five cases of asymptomatic infections were imported from abroad, one each from Oman, Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore and Myanmar.
