3,696 new local confirmed cases in 31 provinces and cities, no deaths

The National Health Commission informed that on December 22, 0-24 hours, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 3761 new confirmed cases. Among them, 65 imported cases (Guangdong 41 cases, Shanghai 8 cases, Beijing 3 cases, Inner Mongolia 3 cases, Liaoning 2 cases, Heilongjiang 2 cases, Gansu 2 cases, Tianjin 1 case, Shandong 1 case, Sichuan 1 case, Yunnan 1 case); local cases 3696 cases (Guangdong 1599 cases, Beijing 547 cases, Fujian 310 cases, Chongqing 271 cases, Yunnan 263 cases, Hubei 112 cases, Sichuan 110 cases) Hunan 93 cases, Shanghai 79 cases, Tianjin 57 cases, Heilongjiang 41 cases, Henan 34 cases, Zhejiang 32 cases, Shaanxi 25 cases, Jiangxi 23 cases, Shandong 23 cases, Shanxi 18 cases, Hebei 15 cases, Guangxi 15 cases, Inner Mongolia 13 cases, Hainan 9 cases, Jiangsu 2 cases, Qinghai 2 cases, Guizhou 1 case, Tibet 1 case, Ningxia 1 case). No new death cases. There were 3 new suspected cases, all of which were local cases (all in Beijing).
2150 new cases were cured and discharged, including 69 imported cases and 2081 local cases (972 cases in Guangdong, 272 cases in Beijing, 263 cases in Shanxi, 103 cases in Chongqing, 91 cases in Fujian, 71 cases in Sichuan, 54 cases in Shandong, 44 cases in Tianjin, 42 cases in Henan, 26 cases in Zhejiang, 24 cases in Liaoning, 24 cases in Yunnan, 23 cases in Shanghai, 15 cases in Jilin, 12 cases in Heilongjiang (12 cases, Jiangsu 10 cases, Hubei 10 cases, Hebei 7 cases, Inner Mongolia 6 cases, Shaanxi 5 cases, Guizhou 2 cases, Ningxia 2 cases, Anhui 1 case, Jiangxi 1 case, Qinghai 1 case), 50,372 people released from medical observation of close contacts, 42 more serious cases than the previous day.
There are 471 confirmed cases (no serious cases) imported from abroad and no existing suspected cases. There are 28,889 confirmed cases, 28,418 cured and discharged cases, and no fatal cases.
As of 24:00 on December 22, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 39,355 confirmed cases (including 416 severe cases), 348,357 cumulative cured and discharged cases, 5,241 cumulative fatal cases, 393,067 cumulative reported confirmed cases, and 23 existing suspected cases. A total of 15,369,289 close contacts have been traced, and 16,7935 close contacts are still under medical observation.
The cumulative number of confirmed cases received from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan is 9139608 cases. Among them, 493234 cases in Hong Kong SAR (107869 discharges, 11327 deaths), 1819 cases in Macau SAR (1426 discharges, 18 deaths), and 8644555 cases in Taiwan (13742 discharges, 14999 deaths).
