4,103 new local confirmed cases in 31 provinces and cities, no deaths

December 23, 0-24 hours, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 4128 new confirmed cases. Among them, 25 imported cases (Shanghai 7 cases, Guangdong 6 cases, Beijing 4 cases, Heilongjiang 4 cases, Sichuan 3 cases, Liaoning 1 case); 4103 local cases (Guangdong 1737 cases, Beijing 580 cases, Fujian 338 cases, Yunnan 309 cases, Chongqing 283 cases, Hubei 258 cases, Hunan 109 cases, Sichuan 94 cases, Shanghai 80 cases, Shanxi 52 cases, Tianjin 51 cases, Shaanxi (35 cases, 33 cases in Henan, 32 cases in Jiangxi, 31 cases in Shandong, 30 cases in Zhejiang, 13 cases in Hebei, 10 cases in Guangxi, 9 cases in Inner Mongolia, 9 cases in Heilongjiang, 5 cases in Qinghai, 2 cases in Hainan, 1 case in Jiangsu, 1 case in Tibet, and 1 case in Ningxia). No new death cases. There was 1 new suspected case, which was a local case (in Hubei).

1760 new cases were cured and discharged, including 62 imported cases and 1698 local cases (829 cases in Guangdong, 267 cases in Beijing, 91 cases in Fujian, 85 cases in Chongqing, 69 cases in Shanxi, 46 cases in Sichuan, 44 cases in Yunnan, 42 cases in Tianjin, 42 cases in Shandong, 35 cases in Shanghai, 33 cases in Shaanxi, 26 cases in Hebei, 24 cases in Henan, 21 cases in Inner Mongolia, 14 cases in Hubei (11 cases in Hunan, 7 cases in Jiangsu, 7 cases in Zhejiang, 3 cases in Heilongjiang, 1 case in Anhui, 1 case in Guizhou), 28,865 close contacts released from medical observation, and 99 more serious cases than the previous day.

There are 434 confirmed cases imported from abroad (no serious cases) and no existing suspected cases. The total number of confirmed cases is 28914, the total number of cured cases is 28480, and there are no fatal cases.

As of 24:00 on December 23, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 41,699 confirmed cases (including 515 severe cases), 35,0117 cumulative cured and discharged cases, 5,241 cumulative fatal cases, 397,195 cumulative reported confirmed cases, and 24 existing suspected cases. A total of 15,377,952 close contacts have been traced, and 147,724 close contacts are still under medical observation.

A total of 9,610,081 cases of confirmed cases were received from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, 495614 cases in Hong Kong SAR (108371 discharges, 11373 deaths), 1851 cases in Macau SAR (1521 discharges, 19 deaths), 8663616 cases in Taiwan (13742 discharges, 15039 deaths).
