From 0-24 hours on September 20, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region reported no new confirmed cases, suspected cases and asymptomatic infected persons. One new confirmed local case was cured and discharged from hospital in Xilinhot City, Xilin Gol league. Nine cases of local asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation, including three cases in Xilin Gol League (all in Xilinhot), one case in Bayannur City (in Linhe District), and five cases in Alashan League (one case in Ejina Banner and four cases in Ceke Port). Overseas imported confirmed cases were cured and discharged in 2 cases, both of which were diverted to Hohhot Baita International Airport by international flights from the capital airport.

As of 24:00 on September 20, there are 238 local confirmed cases in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, including 5 cases in Hulunbeier City (all in Manzhouli City), 224 cases in Chifeng City (5 cases in Hongshan District, 104 cases in Songshan District, 110 cases in Wengniut Banner, 5 cases in Aluqorqin Banner), 7 cases in Xilin Gol League (6 cases in Xilinhot City, 1 case in Erlianhot City), 2 cases in Alashan League (1 case in Ejin Jinna Banner, 1 case in Cek The local asymptomatic infected 268 cases, including 237 cases in Chifeng City (8 cases in Hongshan District, 90 cases in Songshan District, 139 cases in Wengniut Banner), 7 cases in Xilin Gol League (5 cases in Xilinhot City, 2 cases in Erlianhot City), 5 cases in Bayannur City (all in Linhe District), 19 cases in Alxa League (4 cases in Ejin Jinan Banner, 15 cases in Cek Port). 6 cases of confirmed cases imported from outside the country, 6 cases of asymptomatic infections in Hohhot city.
