Beijing adds new local 1+1 on Oct. 3

From 00:00 to 24:00 on October 3, there was one new confirmed case in Beijing (an asymptomatic infected person who was diagnosed on October 2 to a confirmed case, which has been notified) and one asymptomatic infected person, and no new suspected cases; there were nine new confirmed cases and four asymptomatic infected persons imported from abroad, and no new suspected cases. Three cases were cured and discharged from hospital, and five cases of asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation.

Local asymptomatic infected person: now lives in Wolfa 1 village in Daxing District, is an isolated observer, and was diagnosed as asymptomatic infected person on October 3.

Confirmed cases imported from abroad

Confirmed case 1: Chinese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Angola via France on October 1, sent to centralized isolation hotel through closed-loop management, diagnosed as confirmed case on October 3.

Confirmed cases 2, 3 and 7: Chinese nationals who arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Russia on September 29 and were sent to the centralized quarantine hotel under closed-loop management, and were diagnosed as confirmed cases on October 3.

Confirmed cases 4, 5, 6: Chinese nationals, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from the UK on October 2, sent to the centralized isolation hotel under closed-loop management, and diagnosed as confirmed cases on October 3.

Confirmed case 8: Chinese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Guinea via France on September 29, sent to the centralized isolation hotel under closed-loop management, and diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 3.

Confirmed case 9: Hong Kong, China, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Hong Kong, China, on October 2, and was sent to the centralized isolation hotel under closed-loop management, and was diagnosed on October 3.

All the above cases have been transferred to designated hospitals, epidemiological investigations have been conducted and control measures have been implemented as required.
